If you go to their Facebook page, over on the left side, there's a thing that says "Live." The audio is screwed up, though -- can't hear anything right now.

Jessica, I am so sorry. IIRC your grandmother is about a mile from me right now.

She's at the very end of Lafayette, in Clifton.

I was sort of able to talk to her over video chat, and I know she saw and heard me even if she's too weak right now to respond. If this were any other week of any other year there would be hundreds of people right now flying in to be with her, and with each other. It's not so much that we're losing her - she's 100 years old, we've all been mentally preparing ourselves for a decade now - but that we can't take care of each other in person while it's happening.

I should start shopping at the small local grocer in town. If they're open, which I haven't checked. Shop Rite wasn't terrible, unless you wanted cake mix, frozen fried potatoes, pasta, or toilet paper, but I'd rather keep the small businesses in business if I can.

It's also Ethan's birthday so we're ordering from the Peruvian Place which thankfully is still open.

Jess I'm sorry for your loss.

Talked to my parents today. Dad mentioned I could go down to FL and stay at the beach and I explained I didn't want to spread germs all over the place. But he seems to be doing ok. Mom's potential move has been put on hold for a while with everything going on. She had a Dr appointment first thing this morning and she went. He Dr told her she didn't need to be out at all and she should have stayed home. A neighbor has offered to get her groceries. I didn't ask Dad about that I am just happy he is taking this kind of seriously. She called one grocery store torr to see if they had senior hours and they said no . Which seems short sighted since it is a big area for retirees.

I am so sorry JessiPMoon. I am feeling nostalgic for that name. Thanks so much Hil for helping me with the Indigo Girls. I was so looking forward to it and it making me nostalgic in general.

K, I went and bought $80 worth of edibles (well, $71 but I tipped the guy $9). Hoping they will help me not be so vibrating with anxiety, plus the walk there and back was over a mile, so that was good. About to go meet up with a friend (from 6 feet away) to walk along the water.

My friend who had moved out to the boonies and gotten goats was trying to sell her house (and has people coming to see it tomorrow??) and had moved back into the city, but decided to head back out to the boonies for the coming weeks. I may go drive up there and hang out on her property far away from her (she invited me to).

Plei, you could go yell at them from their front lawn? :) Apparently my sister dropped off shopping for my parents on their stoop and then talked to them from her car while they were in the house, LOL.
