Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Matt, that condo is fantastic! I love the loft feel.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Statewide shutdown in PA for the next 2 weeks. All non-essential businesses to close, dine in bars and restaurants to close unless they can offer take out or delivery. Restrictions go in place at midnight tonight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Matt, that place looks great!

I'm sorry about your aunts, Scrappy.

My sister and I are getting so frustrated at our parents.

Yeah, my mother went back to the grocery store this morning and was going to invite a friend over tomorrow! Duuuuuude.

In other news, I'm listening to an episode of Thirst Aid Kit, and they are doing a segment on hands, and I can't believe I can't talk about this with ita.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm hoping once we get into a new schedule things will get better, but ltc hates changes in her normal schedule. So everything is currently a fight or whining, even the fun things. We have an apple cake in the oven.

Aaaand the condo is already under contract with a prospective buyer as of this morning.

Ah well, it was way sooner than I was prepared to move on buying a home; I haven't even been pre-approved yet. And that unit has sold twice in the last 3 years, so it or one of its sisters might be on the market by the time I'd intended to be buying.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So they are shutting us down to the public but since we are a county entity, they will not pay us so far. There are some meetings happening that may allow us to not have to exhaust our benefits (vacation & comp ONLY--NO SICK LEAVE) during the shut down. Ugh.

I'm in a better spot than most but some (read: most) people in libraries have very few benefits or leave to burn.

If the county doesn't come through, we could lose people just by being shut down.

Our wings are not tired.

Ugh. Ohio wants to delay their primary and I don't want that to happen. I didn't early vote and fear mine being delayed too. Mostly I fear a precedent for November.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Ohio wants to delay their primary

I don't think it's "wants to"; I think it's "is going to", because the primary was supposed to be tomorrow. It's being moved to June 2.

Yeah mine is tomorrow too. They sent an email looking for last minute poll workers. I expect from cancellations.

There needs to be a plan for how all of these businesses that are being told to close are going to survive. We are working through a spreadsheet of all of our creditors right now and going through one at a time and asking if they have any relief for businesses impacted by Covid-19. So far Ford Credit is the one that seems to have a path for relief and I'll hopefully have a call back later today from them confirming that.

My insurance companies? Yeah, they flat out stated we offer no relief on the premiums at this time. Of course they don't.

Also reaching out to the SBA and other places to get more information.

If there is not a real effort to save businesses, we are going to move directly from Pandemic to Economic Depression.
