Wow, I missed a lot today. I was meeting all day about getting our courses online and supporting instructors. We are still considered essential and need to report. I need to get some coffee in case we really all shut down.

My assisted living is ramping up restrictions: we're only going to have two 'public' rooms where you can visit with friends and family, and no outside people coming for program events. Also no group trips -- I'll still be doing medical appointment runs, and shopping for residents, but probably the majority of my time will be as a third-string programs runner.
Our residents are SO damn vulnerable, old and frail. I'm very worried about them all.
Update from the hot zone*:
Schools are opening on a 2-hour delay tomorrow and closed Monday. (There was already a scheduled Superintendent's Day closure for Thursday, this supposedly replaces that but I feel like I'm in that joke and this is the equivalent of being told Grandma's on the roof.)
NYU classes are remote until the end of April.
All corporate employees are WFH until the end of March (yesterday it was just NY and Seattle).
*That's what we call Westchester now even though I'm miles away from New Rochelle and all the traffic goes in and out of the city not cross-county so I'm in no more actual danger than anywhere else outside the actual quarantine zone.
