I know people worked their asses off in FL, GA and TX to get the vote as close as they did.
And the media acted like these were the only races that mattered BECAUSE they were the long shots and therefore the most newsy.
A guy in the deli this morning said he was depressed because of politics and I just froze because either I was going to Well Actually a total stranger OR wind up talking to a Republican. So I muttered noncomittally until my breakfast came.
Ugh. Just a "one on one" meeting with my supervisor, as I do every month, and it was not, like, an objectively bad meeting/review/whatever but I sure came out of it feeling bad. Bah.
Unrelatedly, I hate it when clicking "save" on my spreadsheet makes Excel crash. It's like it's mocking me.
Is there a limit on how long an "acting" AG can head up the DOJ?
According to this article, "Whitaker, who has publicly criticized the Mueller investigation, by law can serve as acting AG for a maximum of 210 days."
I did read some people saying that Whitaker would have to recuse himself, since he's made his feelings about the Mueller investigation known or whatever. I have no idea if that's accurate, nor do I think he would do any such thing, but it delights me to enjoy Trump's reaction if it happened.
Politics aside, can we all agree that Martha McSally is a great name?
Thank you, Karl.
"Martha McSally" sounds like a name your second grader makes up, when she has to write an original story and wants to use the names of both of her best friends, so they don't get mad.
Yes! I think that's why I like it.

Ooh, that is 100% accurate.
Martha McSally, who lives down the alley.
