Punishingly Intricate

And it's likely to mostly go away over the summer and come with a vengeance in the fall.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tired...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I was just talking to someone today who is thinking about booking honeymoon flights to Italy for August, because they are so cheap right now, on the assumption that things will be OK in August. (They've been planning the Italy trip for months.)

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Tep, I threw a shower for a friend that was a rousing success. And then, she went into labor as we were packing up the gifts. The hubbies came back and hers took her off to the hospital, so everything timed out just right. She had a healthy little boy late that night.

I, meanwhile, was recovering from having our second child, and waiting for my first period after, so they would install my IUD. As I was folding up the playpen, it started.

It was a helluva day at sea, sir!

Thrive to spite them

Tomorrow I start in the men's shoe dept. I'm kinda nervous but I know it will be fine. But it's commission and there is a man in the next county who traveled to Italy and now is in isolation. So I'm wondering how long before people stop going out as much to shop. And what will happen then. I'm hoping they will do something like not just suspend commission but set up temporary hourly rates (otherwise the hourly rates are super low).

Now tagless for your comfort.

I am home after the family shit show. Dad's healing, and my brother has already been calling my sisters to try to get bailed out of jail.

UM. NO.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

No, brother of Cashmere! No.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I know this reflects poorly on me, but I think it's possibly the best thing in the world that someone at CPAC had coronavirus. I can provide a list of people I would like to get sick. Ted Cruz is already self-quarantining, which can only be a good thing.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ted Cruz is going to be alone with himself for two solid weeks? Oh, that's going to be fun. I'd suggest he do some soul-searching during that period, but there's the obvious logistical problem.
