Our wings are not tired.

I was encouraged by the massive turnout in some states. Come back in November, please.

I'm feeling quite pessimistic about the general no matter who the candidate is (either that Bernie supporters would sit out rather than vote for Biden, especially if they say the nomination is rigged, or that folks will be turned off by the "socialism" thing).

Meanwhile I'm feeling paranoid that every tickle in my throat is coronavirus and that it's going to suddenly hit me amy day now just in time to ruin my vacation. And being paranoid is making me anxious, so last night I couldn't sleep because my heart was racing, and that means today I feel crummy, so....yeah. Self perpetuating cycle!

I'm especially worried that Bernie will decide to run as an independent if he doesn't get the DNC Nomination.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

He didn't in 2016, any particular reason you think he would this time?

I'd be more worried about Boomberg running as an independent, but I actually think he'd be more likely to steal votes from Trump if he did, so.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

either that Bernie supporters would sit out rather than vote for Biden,

I have to believe that the number of sometimes voters who will come out against Trump no matter what is larger than the 10% of primary voters who would sit out if Bernie isn't the nominee. (And I think 10% is generous -- he's getting less than 40% of primary votes in the states he's winning!)

Thrive to spite them

Congrats Zen!!

I called the DMV today and everything is fine. I don't remember the exact way she described it but basically it had been revoked but the form I turned in on the same day wasn't completely in the system until the next day and everything was reinstated. It sounds like this happens alot. I dunno.

At work I spent most of the day in the shoe Dept. I was paged to go over there and the men's shoes person was going upstairs. It turns out they sent someone home who as sick. No fever but they looked bad and were coughing or had a runny nose or something.

And my mom may be moving. The people she tents from has a duplex (well one unit of one) coming available in a few weeks. It is about the same sq footage, has a dishwasher, and is in town. This would be awesome because she would get off the mountain and as nice as that place is it's just not practical anymore. She won't be able to see it until the 18th but she said she was excited about moving.

I don't see him having another shot at this in four years, and I fear he feels the same way.
