You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

The prudent and responsible choice, Matt. Clearly.

What is even happening?

Cashmere, I know we caught up elsewhere, but I just want to send you love wherever I see you. You've been fighting to get your brother the care he needs forever. I hope your poor dad heals quickly.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S has been awful the last two nights when I try to get him to go to bed. Hopefully he will not be up until 11 again.(Gary's on another business trip for a few days so I have to deal with demon child alone.)

Our wings are not tired

People at my job are cancelling some trips, but more random.

Meanwhile I'm checking pricing on flights to Puerto Rico in case I need to fly out there to do a site visit to bid a possible project.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Well, this Tuesday was not so super. *sigh*

But, I did a thing. [link]

Herding cats for fun

Zen kitty, as far as I know my cousin is on the outskirts of DC. I'm unfamiliar with Virginian geography.

Here in Hayward it was an afternoon snooze fest at the FoodMaxx. Hardly anyone in the store. Pallets of bottled water by the entrance, plenty in stock. I did notice most shoppers were buying bottled water and the pain meds looked picked over but pretty much business as usual. I stocked up on frozen dinners and canned tuna.

Also I found my way through the local high school and dropped off my ballot. Then I couldn't get out of the campus cause all the exits are locked. Suppose that's for crowd control, but it was kind of scary for a minute.
