Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That's wonderful news for your resident, Theo.

Thrive to spite them

I just sold a pair of shoes to a guy who is going to Vegas for a 10 day trade show tomorrow. So not everything is cancelled. Although I'm not sure how I would feel about going to a trade show during this.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Out big trade show (Housewares, which actually had a diifferent name this year before it was cancelled) is cancelled, but we had already opted out of it (not that I ever go, but I read those emails)

Our wings are not tired

I have a conference in Houston in a month. Just got an email from them that it is currently still happening.

I did have a project that was scheduled for Shanghai this month move to March 2021. It's the smart decision, but now I'm working to fill the income gap that that will leave.

I am concerned about how cancellations on events will impact my business.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Voting cures the common cold?!?

brb starting a Twitter rumor that voting cures Covid19...

(Unless you vote for Bloomberg. That actually makes it worse. Don't blame me I don't make the rules.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

No panic in Michigan. People are still going on vacations, including us.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

No panic in MA, unless you count the Market Basket in Chelsea being super-busy. (Seriously, they have 37 registers and I only saw maybe two that were not open with a line out to here.)

I talked to a coworker who shops there and she says it's always like that, though.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My dad still works part-time at a Kroger because he's too bored to just be totally retired, and he said shopping is normal and the only thing they're sold out of is masks. (But he did also tell me, "You should probably buy extra beans, just in case." Specifically, beans. WHY DAD)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

We had a lot of people buying TP at Costco here on Sunday. To be fair, we have a lot more exposure to Asia than many places. I also don't know if or how much it varies from normal Costco TP purchasing.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

The only thing I noticed at Vons last night was the pump hand soaps were out of the ones specifically labeled anti-bacterial. I bought lavender & chamomile instead.
