Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yeah, sick me is the same way. Only, I was the momma this time so I didn't get much tv that I actually enjoyed.

I'm watching Batwoman while they're gone, and then I need to figure out dinner.

I am being somewhat successful at forcing myself to write my performance evaluation, which is due today.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Sigh...so Mr. S had this snow globe he made at school last year. At some point during the day today he decided he wanted the plastic fish inside it and opened up the globe, spilling the mixture inside all over the living room floor. Glitter everywhere. I am not happy, especially since he got angry when I wouldn't let him make a new one.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go shrift!

Oy, Sheryl.

I'm planning my vacations for the year and that is fun except I don't have anything until July and that is too long without time off. I mean, I have days off before then, but just a day here and there, not a big chunk of not-working-time. Maybe that will be enough...

ohh, Planning vacations. I should maybe sketch some things out so I have some days to run by the new job after I am there a month or so.

I mean ACL tickets are already bought, so that is a thing. Need to go see the parents at some point.

So TCG just walked in the living room after putting ltc to bed, and tells me I have already watched the episode of the sitcom I'm watching and starts describing the episode. This is not a show he normally watches with me. So, he wouldn't have seen it without me. I have no memory of seeing this episode before it didn't even seem vaguely familiar. I'm going to blame the fever.

Ugh, Sheryl. That's so frustrating. I'm sorry.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Because they keep leaving their stuff all over the place! I've checked, and not once have I found an aisle just labelled "Things I want". No matter how many letters I send them.
