Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I got a radioactive injection earlier and now have to wait 4 hours to it to get to my extremities before they scan my ankle.

Sounds like the the nuclear medicine bone scans I've had. Was it technetium they injected?

Ask for a copy of the images, on disk to take home.

No superpowers yet, alas.

Thrive to spite them

> I mean, the end times would lead to work being slow.

Yeah although if it was the end times I'd be hearing more of "You should be able to beat your credit goal no one needs to worry about their credit score"

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Fun! I wonder if there are still Buffy sticker books you could buy. Emmett liked those.

I'll look around for something like that. She's obsessed with stickers. She already wants to know when she can watch the show.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have put on some fake nails for my interview tomorrow, my nails were shot from the moving and unpacking. I've read up on the job description and now I think I'll go get my outfit ready and have a shower.

Interview is at 10 tomorrow, so I should have time to leisurely get ready in the morning.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I feel loved. Two different recruiters have reached out to me for the same position. The second one is a woman of color, and I think I'd prefer to work with her, but I can't after I've already talked to the other guy (who is perfectly nice), right?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

good luck tomorrow, msbelle!

Vortex, I don't know what the protocol is for that.

Hey. New board.

but I can't after I've already talked to the other guy (who is perfectly nice), right?

I think you can. They are essentially interviewing for a job with YOU at this point and if you thought the second one was a better fit then you should be able to go with them.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Didn't there used to be late morning movies? My Father-in-Law is taking ltc to karate and lunch tomorrow, and I thought maybe we could catch a movie but nothing starts until after they're due home.

Dcp, I should've asked for a disk! But my doc is supposed to review them and then let me know. The tech sounded like there was definitely inflammation, but whether it is an unexpected level or just "well yeah you're still healing", I don't know. And whether anything can be done about it is also a question I don't know. Fingers crossed there's an easy answer.

Last night I went to this thing called "crowdsource choir"—about 30-40 folks showed up and a guy taught us 3 and 4 part harmony for "I wanna know what love is" and then we sang it. And it was so much fun!! I'm not sure I want to join a regular choir and show up all the time and feel like I have to sing super well, but it was so fun to be singing in harmony and hearing other people in a better way than karaoke?

Our wings are not tired.

That sounds fun, meara. Also, hope you get a plan with answers from the doctor.

I'm super unproductive today and will likely have to make up for it this weekend. Miserable because I got several bites of some kind and tore up my arm because I have no self-control when it comes to itching. Made a nice blood blister on the side of my finger. I have a nail appointment this afternoon so I may have my SIL lance it since she is good at that kind of stuff. Also, moan, cry, complain in big baby fashion.
