Wow, Amy! Neat!
Sad, sarameg. Those deaths hit me differently than people I'm close to - like how many people that I used to see frequently but casually and don't anymore for whatever reason would I not even hear about if they died?

The highlight of my day was getting to pet and cuddle a tiny kitten one of the managers is adopting. So adorable. I have kitten fever so bad. I don't want a child I want a kitten. I can't get one but I want one.
Rest of the day wasnt too bad . But when I finally got home mom's cat nearly knocked me over trying to get in the house and them Penny used that moment to dart out , a lot almost knocking me ovet

Yeah, I had three co-workers die and two of them were fairly young. One died in a car accident when she turned the wrong way onto a one-way street and a front loader rammed right into her. I think the blade rammed right through her windshield. What a weird way to go. Very Final Destination.
Sophia, don't let them do that to you!! Use your vacation girl!!
I usually carry over the max at my job but that's because I also like to take vacation early the next year and want to make sure I have enough.
Amy, I would fangirl super hard at that. I'm making my friends I'm staying with watch The Good Place, and I heart Kristen Bell so much.
You guys, you know how much I love my brother. And he is scary smart. Which is why I am SO GODDAMN OVER his Libertarian anti-government nonsense. How can someone so smart say things like "I am not voting because I do not consent to being governed."?!?!?!? (That was this morning's Facebook post.)
I want to throttle him.
I would actually be interested to hear what he thinks that means. Like, does he pay taxes? Stop at red lights?

He says that he follows laws because he doesn't want to be thrown in jail for breaking them. Even though he never consented to those laws applying to him.
Like, he hears himself saying this stuff -- how does he not hear how ridiculous it is?
I feel your pain, Teppy. My son Brendon is that way, except he does always vote, but he votes for the progressive candidates that have no chance. I am rather amused that he thinks he gets to vote for the Independent running against Wasserman Shultz, when she isn't in his district. (snerk) But at least he is voting for Gillum.
My brother is on the opposite side. Also extremely smart, but never met a conspiracy theory he didn't believe because we are all idiots who buy into the lies from the MSM. Listens to all the right wing radio talk shows. Shudder.
No wonder why I hang out here so much! I love you for that combo of spicy brains and sanity!

Tim's parents were always like this. But since he moved into his assisted living facility, he's stopped watching Fox News all day (or, I think, at all), and he doesn't mention politics at all unless someone else brings it up. (Like the evening we joined him for dinner with his cohort of lady friends, and whip-smart Millie from Massachusetts went on and on about how much she loves Trump, at which point Tim's dad jumped in and agreed about how trustworthy Trump is, unlike "that Obama guy." I really really liked Millie until she mentioned how much she loves Trump.) (And is someone from Massachusetts even allowed to be a Republican? Maybe that's why she left the state and moved to Ohio.)
I wanted to wait until the before-work rush of voters thinned out, so I am about to make some eggs and then head up to my polling place to whip this country back into shape.
