In NC if you want to sell liquor to drink on the premises you also have to sell food, unless you're a private club. I have my $1.00 membership in two bars and the nail salon that also offers cocktails.

interview #3 with company went well. Got out right at 5 and commute home was 1 hour 15 min which is not great. Of course I do not know alternative routes or ways to go that might have helped, I just did what the GPS told me. Ideally if I get this job I could swing my work schedule to where I could leave at 4:30-4:45 everyday and only hit the tail end of the traffic.
Timelies all!
In my part of Maryland, beer and wine are not sold in supermarkets, just in liquor stores.
Yay interview going well!
The more I read all this the more I want a cocktail. Calli's nail salon with cocktails membership sounds wonderful! I just ordered a mango lassi with my dinner (I am out of lentils and ordering food to pick up is logistically easier than going to the grocery store and buying some lentils. I'll get some this weekend, probably)
just bopped over to Sara's to borrow something. HAHAHAHAHA LIKE I CAN DO NOW!!
also I now have beer from my local liquor store. they had Austin EastCiders, but not Shiner. Also no Harp Lager. will have to go back and look at the wine options. I've been mostly having Aldi wine for a while.
You can buy full-strength beer in Colorado now, which is apparently a Big Deal. Wine, however, requires a liquor store trip. (The liquor store near my hotel also had beer.)
Washington's had beer and wine as long as I've been around and we did away with state-run liquor stores a few years ago, so you can buy ALL THE THINGS! now.
Funny part? She borrowed the air bed she gifted me with as a housewarming 10 yrs ago!
Which store did you go to? I know I've seen Harp & Shiner...somewhere.

Good they have the cider! & interesting. I'm never able to predict where stuff will pop up.
I'll have to find a source for my lambic and find wines I like.
