You can buy full-strength beer in Colorado now, which is apparently a Big Deal. Wine, however, requires a liquor store trip. (The liquor store near my hotel also had beer.)
Washington's had beer and wine as long as I've been around and we did away with state-run liquor stores a few years ago, so you can buy ALL THE THINGS! now.
Funny part? She borrowed the air bed she gifted me with as a housewarming 10 yrs ago!
Which store did you go to? I know I've seen Harp & Shiner...somewhere.
Good they have the cider! & interesting. I'm never able to predict where stuff will pop up.
I'll have to find a source for my lambic and find wines I like.
Aw, the msbelle and sarameg show is giving me warm fuzzies
I didn't know Colorado had the stepped on beer, I thought that was a Utah thing. I do tend to visit those states in the same trips, I could easily have mixed them up.
Someone else will have to talk beers. We have breweries! I just don't drink beer, so don't pay attention.
I can help you find all the things, msbelle!
Actually many of the markets in this part of MA have at least wine and beer now
Yeah, I got carded in the Whole Foods in Cambridge whilst buying beer for a Somervillains party. At the time I was apparently a very young looking 50 something.
. . . I might have taken pictures of the Aisle of Boozy Goodness at QFC and sent them to people still in Utah after we moved.
Will someone please tell me to go to bed? It's not like I'll sleep, because Jim's in Denver, but it's got to be a better use of my time than poking at genealogy when I'm this tired.
