Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I had a random amyth encounter in the coffee line at the hospital! (I work next door to her hospital so it's my nearest latte source; she was grabbing a snack while waiting to be admitted for the next chemo round)

She looks great (at least, you know, given the whole next chemo round thing) and appreciates all the love coming from everywhere and also said she should post more updates and her other friend who was hanging with her at the hospital and I at the exact same moment said UMM OR YOU COULD DELEGATE THAT, so here I am. Amy sighting!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Thanks, amych!!

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Yay amyth sighting! I was just wondering today about whether she was home or in the hospital and which round of chemo she's on now.

From what I understand, the schedule (at least for now) is that she's in for about a week of intensive stuff, then home for breaks between rounds if the tests permit. I believe she said this is round 4 of 8.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

oh as usual dear ... I get a lot of spam at work and, after a while, a lot of the non-pron messages start sounding that way ... today's was "Who has large valves when you need them?"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

1st was fine. Smol foam mattress is not as nice as motel beds or my bed, but Bailey seemed happy to be right by me. I might try the air mattress tonight.

I need to program the thermostat, house dropped to 60 overnight and I do not have covers to accommodate that with me.

I've got the trash out for pick up tomorrow and have put away most of what I had with me in the car.
