Hope the phone interview goes well, msbelle! When do you plan to be in B'more yourself?
I am camp planning and one of the parents is acting like a child. We have 4 girls who wanted to go to a camp together. Two got in, two got waitlisted. The two waitlisted girls signed up for a different week, so they weren't shut out entirely. I say we just tell the girls this is what happened, and plan the rest of summer.
Problem parent says, "that won't work" for his daughter, because she only really wants to go to camp with one of the waitlisted girls and will pitch a fit. Twice. It is taking all my self control to ask him WHAT THE HELL.
Parents! They are the worst. As a coach poor DH has to put up with them all the time.
What are people doing this weekend? None of my doctors are off Monday so no day off for me.
Sparky, sounds like a good time for Problem parent to introduce his daughter to Classic Rock during her free time this summer, starting with "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Stones.

I don't think I ever went to camp with existing friends! That would have been nice.
Tomorrow I have a massage and game night at a friend's, Sunday possibly church then band, Monday no plans until a blood donation appointment, which maybe I'm going to move so I can go to an afternoon movie.
My plan is to arrive in B'more 1/27.
Phone interview went well. They were hoping for in person interviews next week, but the best I can do is skype/facetime. I hope that will work for them. HR person like my "energy". yay caffeine!
parents are, indeed, the worst. how is this guy telling 3 parents, "hey, my daughter only really likes one of your kids, sorry." Alas - he can't stop the rest of you from being actual parents and telling your children the reality of what happened and working from there. I might have to be real real and let me kid know that this other kid is a giant brat.
What are people doing this weekend?
Grocery shopping, cleaning the house (esp. the bathroom) so it'll be ready for Tim after his surgery (which is on Tuesday).
More proof that my roommate is actually an alien: after nearly two weeks of no hot water, she did not immediately take a shower after the plumbers left. I am only barely pausing to make an entry here.
(Although I've kept showering/bathing at Inman Oasis in the interim.)
