How do I spontaneously combust turn into a morning person? Asking for a very tired night owl.
It didn't happen for me until I was about 50. For several years I had to get up super early to get the boys out to school and it became a habit. It then became my 'me' time when I would sit and sip coffee and relax before the world around me was loud and busy. My world is mostly loud and too busy. The major downside is nodding out about 9PM. I have to nap if I plan a late night.
Ugh - 3 interlopers have entered my theater.
Boo! Mostly I like an empty theater, but with some movies the reaction noise is fun too.
A friend used to call one movie theater the "interactive" movie theater, since there always seemed to be a lot of talking back to the screen.
When we saw Endgame, the row in front of us was filled with preteen boys. Their designated adult/mom, sitting next to me, told them "Remember, only inside voices during the movie!"
I turned to her and said, "How about NO VOICES during the movie?"
I need to see Knives Out again at some point because two women were talking non stop to each other for the first 30 minutes, ignoring everyone dishing them until someone got up and asked them to please stop discussing the movie until it was over.
Do you actually do all the laundry before work, from washing through to folding, Tom? Because that is serious. I might throw a load in the washer before work and do the rest in the evening. Or the next morning. Or over the course of the next couple of days...
No, just the laundry. 2 or 3 loads, simultaneously, because there are usually 3 free machines. Takes about 70 minutes, while I eat breakfast. Then I fold when I get home.

a friend of mine was talking about the late-hours laundry policy that his condo association set up a late night addition to what doing the laundry cost -- from $1 a load to $15 a load.
Wow that is crazy!! How loud is laundry that they need to disincentivize late night loads?? I would be super mad at this. (Though to be fair half the time I do laundry during the day since I work from home, but still! Sometimes last minute you need pants for a trip tomorrow or realize the blouse that goes with your interview suit is dirty or whatever...)
I was supposed to have a doctor appointment (consultation) today, and then my usual weightlifting class (just for December and January), but both got canceled. Now I'm not sure what to do with my evening. I kind of want to bake a cake, but I feel like I should go to the gym and see if I can lift weights there.
