I'm suddenly getting a rash of "someone is trying to get into your account" emails—but legit ones. From Fitbit and twitter and I forget where else. Guessing my password somewhere got posted and they're trying it? So now I'm going through and updating a few that should've already been. I'm hoping there's nowhere important I'm forgetting that they were successful at and didn't notify me???

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I'm sorry Drew, it's hard. No matter how old we get, or how much time passes. You miss them.

Oh, poor B! Give him our love, Laura.

I'm glad you're getting some traction, msbelle. I'm glad you have (and sorry you need) the patience of a saint.

Yikes, meara! Good luck!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Meara, is it possible that someone is mis-typing their email, and trying to log on on a new device or some nonsense.

I pretty routinely get sign-up notifications for people who didn't include their middle initial in their email address (got there first! Ha!)

Peace-ma to everyone.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Laura, how awful! I'm so sorry.

{{{Noise}}}

I'm sure I had other stuff but I forgot. Sorry.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hugs for all who need/want them.

In super light news - I just today figured out that I can get a side of oatmeal instead of fries at McDonald's (not as part of the combo (actually, maybe I will ask about that next time!)) and that works out pretty good. There may be no one else in the world who needs this particular life hack, but it's nice for me.

Our wings are not tired.

A parental miracle moment! As I drove my son to work earlier, because for at least the first 90 days I will make sure he gets there on time, he mentions 2 blocks from work that he has no money or food for his dinner break. Grumble grumble, last moment not happening. So I tell him I have to get to my nail appointment and will be done before his dinner break and will stop and get something for him at his store. Since he works at a grocery should be easy enough. So!!! When I arrive there at nearly 8 I see him strolling toward the door and think I have missed his dinner break. I call out to him and he walks over and says ... "I don't need dinner money; I got paid today." Seriously, I am joyful. It's been a long long time since he wasn't 100% dependent on me.

Coding and Sleeping

Yay for non-dependency!

I'm tired, today has been non-stop since 6:30am.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Laura, pass on my love to your DH. That's devastating.

Punishingly Intricate

So sad about your DH's friend, Laura. What a tragedy.
