Up until the punching, it was a real nice party.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's snowing here. They let people go home early. Well, non-essential personnel could leave by 1, but I'm essential so I stayed.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Last I checked we were supposed to get a dusting, but now I'm mildly worried.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

So glad Tim is feeling better today!

We were supposed to get an inch. It's closer to 3 and it's still coming down. Accidents all over the place.

We weirdly have snow in the forecast for almost the whole next week. We rarely get it, and it looks like the high each day will be above freezing, but the low will be lower, so...yikes. Good thing I don't really have plans this weekend?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm glad Tim is feeling better today. One more vote here for Super!Tim!.

Yay! Mac, and Yay! Laura's elder child. Bon Voyage, Jess!

Stability to -t's work, and safe from snows, those who have it.

Encouragement to Calli, and basically anybody who needs it. I saw on FB that Miley likes her new foster placement, so good work there, msbelle. And I'm sending you a thought and energy boost, as fast as you're blowing through both those things.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I want to run back and get Miley, I miss her and I am projecting onto Bailey, but I think she misses her also. I know it is not the best thing though, so I am not doing it. HATES IT!

I am meeting someone a block away at the library to get rid of a tiny thing from my house. I'll see if Bailey will be ok being left inside again (that is how she was left for years, but with Miley she got a little destructive).

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Much am for Tim and Steph. Pain is, obviously, a very terrible thing.

I am in awe of msbelle, still, and how much she gets done.

Work right before a semester is still continuing to be just terrible, in that everyone needs everything now! Everyone is angry and frustrated. No one can communicate, and I get stuck untangling communication errors and getting shit done. But I have my own shit to do. And then no one wants to do work on the following semester because they are teaching. This three semester teaching schedule is too hard, I think, and we cant make substantive revisions when 30-40 people need help in a two week period! It is like having a fire hose in your mouth because everything is on fire at once!

Coding and Sleeping

My son was told at DST Systems, where he is interning, that he'll be offered a job when he graduates. Kid is 17. Seems unreal.

He's 17 and has an internship?? Good lord.

What is even happening?

Someone sounds like he inherited Dad's smarts, Gudanov.

Happy belated 10th anniversary to ND and Pix. (Wow, that makes me feel as old as being the mom to a bunch of adults).

Laura and msbelle, I'm glad to read about your sons' progress. When do you expect to make your big move, msbelle?

Teppy, I'm sorry you and Tim are going through so much. I hope he continues to feel better, and that he won't need surgery. When he does pass the superhero threshold, will you be renting him out for odd jobs? Also, are carrots his spinach?

C should be headed back to college in a couple of weeks. However, the course of Crohn's Disease never did run smooth. One of his liver tests has been wonky and got a little wonkier. He has to have a scan later this week.

We're hoping this is just the body's response to resuming his infusions and/or adding the methotrexate. Otherwise, his latest appointment went really well. His inflammation numbers are nice and low. He's hit his target weight (and never weighed this much before in his life, which is nice).

Someday, I'm going to post something which doesn't need to be edited. /Pollyanna
