I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

my poor foster dog, Miley, was so stressed out by the meet and greet yesterday, she has been sleeping hard. Last night she slept on the bed like normal, but this morning, she crawled up next to me and wanted her head actually on me, like a kid with bad dreams. Now this morning after food and a little play she conked out again and she just peed while asleep - jumped up startled and we both just stared at the wet spot on the dog bed. I have never seen that before, but no worries - into the wash. I let her out and she walked around the yard a bit, but is now back in and in another bed already snoring.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, poor Miley. Stress is very tiring!

I'm taking my parents to the train station tonight, they are heading up to Portland to see my sister and brother and the grandkids. Their train is scheduled for something like 10pm. We'll have dinner before and I have no idea what else we'll do today but I'm about to get dressed and head over. I think they both feel bad that I'm not included in the family holiday time, but I'm back to work tomorrow so what can you do? Hopefully I'll get a chance to see the kids (now both in their 20s, yikes!) next summer, maybe even spring.

Hey. New board.

My family does Christmas lunch at a buffet restaurant that includes unlimited beer in the price and let's just say autocorrect is saving me right now.

Merry Christmas!

Hey. New board.

(It is 1:45 pm in Brazil right now so don't judge me based on the timestamp)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Merry Christmas, everyone. I'm at my sister's. My adult niece and nephew will be by later today with their spouses and kid. For now it's just the middle aged folks and a couple of dogs. It's nice and relaxing.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Merry Christmas!

Matilda is running a fever, and Emmett's still asleep on the couch.

When I went to bed they were both still talking by the xmas tree until the wee hours. They are officially at the stage where conversation is one of their pleasures. Emmett is very excited to be adult sibs with her in the near future.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ha, Gris!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Merry Christmas!

It was a bulging disk pressing on a nerve, ugh.

Ayiyi, that'll do it.

Herding cats for fun

Merry Christmas to all! May your day be merry and bright.

I am sitting on the bed with a cup of coffee and two of my kitty girls AIFG.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Merry Christmas, Buffistas! Our plans include taking the family to see Cats and then trying our luck at a semi-nice Chinese restaurant which may or may not be open today.
