Thrive to spite them
My day is being very Monday ish. I wanted to be in NC by 9 am at the latest so I wouldn't spend all day doing stuff up here. But do to an alarm not going off and a series of mishaps it's 10:10 and we aren't there yet. We ended up taking a weird round about way that added about half hour to the trip.

I had the worst migraine last night. Took my usual prescription and it did nothing! Still felt horrific. Took an ambien thinking maybe I could sleep it out, but was still laying there with my head throbbing. Finally took one of my leftover pain pills from the broken ankle, so that the ambien could work and I could sleep. Whew. Woke up around midnight and brushed my teeth and went back to bed. But I still feel it lurking this morning, eek.

I came home from work on Friday and immediately started getting a sore throat which got worse overnight (leading to me doing some work in the middle of the night because the pain woke me up so I figured I'd check my email...), basically stayed in bed all weekend with chills/fevers/aches&pains, and am working from home today. I am EXHAUSTED from the little biut of work I've done, so I guess that was the right call. Tomorrow is our offsite holiday meal, so I want to be there for that but it's gonna be tough...
Anyway, reading y'all's posts and responding in my head but not able to actual post responses right now due to lack of brain.
