Stupid frustrated today. My SS card still has not shown up, the second request I made has not been acknowledged as processed after 2 days, payday is next Friday and I won't be getting paid, I placed an online order that was supposed to have been delivered yesterday, and is still listed as processing so I have no damned clue where it's at, and the burger I had for lunch didn't have bacon even though it was ordered and paid for. I just told MedicGuy to find someone else to go to the hockey game tonight. I'm not going to be good company. I'm going to lay on the couch and pull the blanket over my head and ignore everything.

My own fault for not calling during the week: mystery hold on driver license renewal remaining mysterious. Call on Monday...
Timelies all!
Got up early(for a Saturday) to go to an open house at another school we're looking at for Mr. S for next year. Promising, but as with the other school I visited, I worry that his ODD would be considered too much for them to handle. I guess all we can do is apply and see what happens.
I decided it's time for me to start making layer cakes, so I bought cake pans and made a trial cake, and it's a good thing I did, because I couldn't get one layer out! Next time I'll put parchment on the bottom.
Msbelle, that sounds like a clusterfuck.
Askye, I think home is where you can melt down with no repercussions. That living situation seems hard.
ltc is adorable
Maria, you are inspiring me to get my Ss card Now!
Jesse, parchment is awesome. Makes everything so much easier.
My one big problem with layer cakes is the way each cake domes in the middle, and then I have to carve the top off. I haven't figured out how to get them to bake flat on the top.
I'm trying to get enough energy to go around the corner to pick up dinner. But it's wet out...
Thanks, Sophia.
I'm sorry about the SS problems, Maria.

Most of the recipes I see say to cut the dome off, so I don't know that there is a way. Other than making different recipes -- the shallow layers I just made are pretty flat.
I am posting from a stage at intermission! This chorus and orchestra are way more relaxed than others I've sung with.
Yay Dana!
