Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I finally did start using it, so am excited (??) to have another use.

sj and Laura: insent!

I will probably get an update out about my cancer stuff tonight or maybe tomorrow after the doctors do rounds. Short version: I also have cancer in my cerebrospinal fluid and they are going to treat it as aggressively as my body will allow (DO IT). This involves injections of chemo into my spine every two to three days for an indeterminate amount of time. Problem is, my spine is a jerk, and there's only one space that will accept a needle (of course) between the L2 and L3 vertebrae. This is in addition to my IV chemo regimen. Everyone is still amazing, both personally and professionally. New weird crises pop up, like extremely painful mucositis in my urinary tract that resolved itself the next day. They tell me my heart and lungs are strong and I'm tolerating the chemo really well, and I'm trying to walk at least a half mile on the floor each day. So every day is an adventure in generosity and gratitude, stress and pain, letting go of my life, while trying to hold onto it.

I was diagnosed two weeks ago.

amyth, do you have any preferences in tea? Black/green/rooibos/etc? Also, if you can't have fresh fruit, can you at least have dried fruit?

So landlord inspected today and there is radio silence. I am thinking that is a good sign for tomorrow. I wonder if they remove the sign?
