Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

So, I ended up going to bed after the locksmith came. He removed the lock, so I can get out. But I can't lock the door. He confirmed it was broken. I do have to get the landlord to replace the lock, obviously because now there is a hole in my door!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's really annoying, Sophia!

Thrive to spite them

Sophia I have my fingers crossed that this will get resolved soon so you can have a working lock and no notice on your door and be able to enjoy your home without the atress.

Going back when I was talking about plantar fasciitis I realized I had been stretching as much as I should and haven't been icing my foot so I've been more diligent. I need better slippers. I had a pair of lined crocs but am missing one and the LL Bean slipped I have don't have much support and they are too warm so I don't wear them. So I am looking for alternatives.

I am also trying to navigate living in a house with someone who has the opposite temperature needs as me. Matthew's mom is so cold natured and I am so hot natured it has been a struggle to find a balance. Yesterday Matthew and I went up to see mom and when we came back the nasebaord heat was on and the living room windowac/heat unit was set at 85.

Not only is his mom extremely cold natured but she hates wearing layers of clothes and would prefer to just "strip down to nothing but my skin" (according to what she said last night). On the other hand I like feeling "cozy" and look forward to winter and the house being cold so I can layer up. But right now I would settle for the house being at a temperature where I don't have to immediately change into summer weight clothes as soon as I get inside so I don't start sweating.

Askye, I have a pair of unlined croc Mary Janes that I literally found in the garbage new with tags that I have been wearing for slippers

I have no help for the house thing, but I think she should turn down the heat a bit and wear a sweater! I like to be as naked as possible, but it is cold right now! I am not paying that heating bill! I also think my stuff was insulating my house! So it is way colder.

That is a ridiculous position for someone to take when they are living with other people! I mean, it seems wasteful and expensive to me in any circumstances, but people can live their own lives if it's not affecting anyone else. But this is!

Punishingly Intricate

Yeah, that would make me crazy, askye.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Askye, that is ridiculous!

Sophia, good luck getting a new lock soon.

Debet, I'm not at all surprised that you were also a Gargoyles fan. Friday is acting like a Monday. So, I'm watching more now.

One of the characters had an old school shoebox cellphone with a cord. Aka my first cellphone when I started driving for emergencies only. I am old.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

sj, what the super-Shakespearian cartoon with more Trek actors than you can shake a stick at? Why would you think that was my jam? Sadly, we're several years away from Samlet being able to watch it, and if the glory light box is illuminated, he just STARES at it.

I have quite a bit of work to do, and then I'm watching the gumball this afternoon, so DH can accomplish some baby-unfriendly stuff.

Askye, as someone whose climate control consists of Windows and fans, that's some bullshirt, and I'm a little shocked that she's made it that far into adulthood thinking that's okay behavior. Although both my grandmother and great-grandnmother were cold in anything under about 85 degrees. Visiting was always super fun, as was taking them to a public place where they were always complaining about being cold.

eta: JFC, "glowy" light box. dammit, autocorrect

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Debet, I have to ask - what version of Windows do you have? I've never found one that helped with temperature (snerk).
