And thank god for the internet! Can you imagine if you had to call everyone you wanted to talk to???

Theo, I think I just lucked out on the timing of my chemo, because that was how long it took the hospital pharmacist to approve it and mix it up from when the oncology team put in the order. But the timing has worked out well!
Laura, that story about your sister is amazing! And thanks for all of your wise and kind words.
Sophia, I would love a chemo cap, thank you! They said to expect hair loss soon, so I need to think about options. My favorite colors are purple and other jewel tones.
Jesse, INORITE?? I barely even use my phone as a phone! I'm reserving phone calls mostly for the over-70 crowd who want to stay in touch. And it's a lot! Hooray, Internet!
In minor news, I'm off work today for Veteran's day, but figured the guys were coming to finish some work they are doing in my house, and thank goodness I got up and showered, etc., because they were here by 8:30!
And thank god for the internet! Can you imagine if you had to call everyone you wanted to talk to???
~~full body shudder~~
amyth, you are amazing. Whatever you need we are here for you.
amyth, thanks for keeping us up to date with what is happening. Those nurses know amazing when they see it.
So much love and ~ma, amyth.
I'm off for veteran's day, too, and I think I have a cold? Bah. Does make it easier to justify the extension of the coffee drinking, newspaper reading, soft pants wearing part of the day, though.
Best wishes, amyth.
Morocco, specifically Marrakech. It's beautiful, very different from anywhere I've ever been here, and you'll feel like you're walking around in a story book. The food is wonderful. It's been a crossroads of the world at the edge of the Sahara for a few thousand years so being a visitor somehow feels a little more like being part of the story than just another tourist who's come to look at stuff.
In Marrakech buildings are rose colored. Essoueria is by sea and white. Chefchaouen Is in the mountains and blue. The deserts and mountains are lonely and quiet and the air is beautiful.
In your position I think I'd be tempted to fill my head with beautiful, tranquil images of somewhere and if the meds want to give vivid dreams...
My warmest thoughts to you right now. Life dropped you at a marathon on your way to work one day and now you have to run the damn thing before you can grab your coffee and check your messages. It's bonkers.
Good lord, amyth. That is a lot. I still maintain that you're going to kick it in the face.
