Best wishes, amyth.

Morocco, specifically Marrakech. It's beautiful, very different from anywhere I've ever been here, and you'll feel like you're walking around in a story book. The food is wonderful. It's been a crossroads of the world at the edge of the Sahara for a few thousand years so being a visitor somehow feels a little more like being part of the story than just another tourist who's come to look at stuff.
In Marrakech buildings are rose colored. Essoueria is by sea and white. Chefchaouen Is in the mountains and blue. The deserts and mountains are lonely and quiet and the air is beautiful.
In your position I think I'd be tempted to fill my head with beautiful, tranquil images of somewhere and if the meds want to give vivid dreams...
My warmest thoughts to you right now. Life dropped you at a marathon on your way to work one day and now you have to run the damn thing before you can grab your coffee and check your messages. It's bonkers.
Good lord, amyth. That is a lot. I still maintain that you're going to kick it in the face.
amyth, you said that Good Omens is your happy fic place at the moment; could we make up rec lists for you?

Depending on what kind of fic you like, I have an extensive list. A lot of it is FILTHY, though, so if that's not your thing, I...still have a list, but it's smaller.
Amyth, damn, that is a LOT!! I'm so glad you have people who are IRL able to help, rather than just us friends in the box. But definitely if we can do anything (cards?) I'm in!
I do not have Veterans Day off, but am feeling very "off". Woke up with a headache and took my migraine meds and now feel weird. Bleh.
I do not have Veterans Day off
I'm working, but I can never remember if the AMA is closed today, so I don't know if my coordinator is just ignoring my emails or is off work.

What a perfect way to put it, Trudy. And so much love to you, amyth. If you're up for it, I'm always good for Words with Friends, and as many people here know, I'm incredibly easy to beat.
Also, with an address, I can send some bakery goodies ...
Timelies all!
I have today off from work. I went to an open house this morning for a school we are looking at for next year for Mr. S. (They work with kids who are bright, but have social and executive functioning problems. I don't know if Mr.S 's problems would be too much for them.) After that I did grocery shopping. Although there is no PEP today, we had the nanny pick him up at the usual time, but she will bring him back a few hours earlier than usual.
Work today for me: no rest for the wicked.
We're scheduled for snow tomorrow, but only about a half inch, late in the day so with luck I will not have to drive in it.
