Wash: I didn't think you were one for rituals and such. Mal: I'm not, but it'll keep the others busy for a while. No reason to concern them with what's to be done.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I really, really appreciate all the little things you do like that, to keep us all connected.

Yes, thank you David. The little things like the costume of the sewing kit make me happy and feel connected.

Awwww! A little monkey-grooming (as Nutty would say) goes a long way.

You talk to people every day for twenty years and you get to know a thing or two about them.

It is gone.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That is another reason I liked my therapist. I mentioned all you all as a support system and she didn't think I was nutty!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am so sad about Connie. I loved her no-bullshit ways and self aware fighting the shackles of her Puritan ancestors. I saw a little of my future self in her, in a world where IDGAF what people thought of me. She was a fighter and a realist and the world is a lessened by her passing. She did love that car, though.

Only Nutty is nutty, and she's pretty rational.

Herding cats for fun

Oh man. We lost Connie? We didn't know for weeks? Life is cruel.

I will totally miss her snark. She was brave and she made me laugh so many times.

RIP, my friend. You will be missed. I will set something on fire in your honor.

Aw, so sorry to hear about Connie passing. I recall that post about her boss that would be over-eager for details about calling in sick, but it seemed like that was only last week, not three weeks ago. Hope she and DH are reunited and enjoying mead together in a feast hall somewhere in Valhalla!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

This is probably wrong of me, but I hope her boss feels bad about questioning her using PTO time.

I just keep getting sadder about Connie. She and I were never even really close, but the world is definitely lessened.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm wondering how much the bad air quality last year in Utah contributed to her death.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Yeah, I know she said she had an appointment with a pulmonologist in August or September, and I think her lung capacity was found to be somewhat diminished.
