I started onboarding my replacement today. By the end of the day I let her know how everything went down and that not only do I not have an end date, I have not turned in a resignation yet.
She seems good though, so basically I can train her how and in a way that makes it last 3 months if I want.
Msbelle, that sounds hard. Good for you on onboarding.
I am cuddled up my sofa, the carpets are drying and they look way better than they deserve. I am pretty happy with my arrangement for Sunday's. I would rather pay Aidan $20 a week for almost nothing except to keep me accountable to teenage boy standards than pay for a cleaning service. Although I am still going to get the estimate for a monthly cleaning.
Congrats to MedicGuy!
Sophia, that's just incredible. You recognized a difficult on-going situation, you dealt with it by not running away, you set mechanisms for this not to happen again, and you've worked so hard. You're amazing.
msbelle, I am sorry. This does not sound fun, to say the least.
I just read the news about Connie N -- I am gutted. Read Beep Me if you haven't already.
Her last post (October 8th) was annoyance that she'd been sick in the morning and her nosy boss would want to know what was up.
Her family posted on FB and tagged her and it didn't show up on my feed. I am so sad noth that she is gone and that her absence wasn't realized.
Oh no. I had been wondering about her. This is terrible news, although I am glad, somehow, her nephew was able to find us. I had been thinking about her because she seemed to be happy getting rid of her husbands stuff after he passed on. This is just terrible.
Well, crap. That's so sad.
Fuck Facebook and their shitty algorithms.
I just made sure Mariahad this site bookmarked so you could know If I died within this mess. Thatis my morbid update.
