I got a lot done yesterday- basically the whole hallway and stairwell are now clean, as is the stove sink oven counter wall of the kitchen. Today I am going to focus on the other kitchen wall I can get to- cupboards/fridge/microwave and hopefully the ceilings if Maria can get me the swifter wet cloths- I bought the wrong ones yesterday, but the one sample looks great. I am impatient to schedule the rest of the work because I can't get around the house.

I have to thank you all for your outpouring of love- it is such a load off my mind to not have to worry about paying the deposit before my loan comes in and also to then be able to use the loan to pay off my credit card. All in all, I should have done that years ago- the interest is so low on the retirement loan compared to the credit card.

My old boss- who has been great- she made my new boss give me the week off and found people to do all my work commitments and made them leave me alone last week so I could finish up the things only I could do — told me to be prepared for it to get worse for me mentally this week, so I am a little nervous about that. I am also nervous that the dumpster is coming Monday but the people are not until at least Tuesday. I

Well, hell. PG&E planned outages again this weekend and I was not supposed to be affected but not my power is out. And I just got a notice from work that both offices are on generator power and may be closed tomorrow.

It's really just inconvenient, I'm not in any danger or anything, but it's a drag.

Sophia if your sink is clear and you have cleaning liquids, you can use a rag as a non-disposable swifter wet wipe, it is how I mop my floors.

I am using the swiffer wet wipes for the ceiling and upper walls, because I can't reach even on my little two step stool. I did the floors in the bathroom on my hands a knees, and the company is going to do the kitchen after they remove the bags, but thanks! I actually was able to run out and get them.

I am wondering if my landlord would bring me a ladder?
