Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Despite that, I will never be rich enough to buy holiday cards at $10 a pop, no matter how much I love them. [link] [link]

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Jesse, I bet you could find someone with graphics software and take a file to a print shop and get something printed. It might not be QUITE as nice, but you could probably get something comparable.

I have one friend for whom I will spend more than usual for special cards, but I'd have to think twice about over $10 for a single card ... I did draw the line at the $13.50 Halloween card (it's a mask ... a nice one).

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

$10 cards is CRAZY!

Just came across wording in a job description that is a BIG NOPE, "create a vision and a plan....". Nope nope nopity nope. There will be no visioning and overall from scratch planning. There will be following directions, taking deadlines and making things for to them, there may even be improvements made to current systems, but make up from thin air and figure out how to do . Hells no

information libertarian

I love you people and your snails and your jalapeno balls.

I especially love Sophia.

I am having a terrible week. Don't raise teenagers, and don't work for a dysfunctional place, and especially don't do both at the same time. It's too much.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would not appreciate that those were super expensive cards if I received one. I mean, I just wouldn't recognize the fact. FTR

Congrats, Jesse!

Your boss is a piece of work, msbelle.

Speaking of bosses, mine just told me to think about trading my JCP [JC Penney]account (which I have had since I started here and they were only carrying one item that we were often out of stock for, but it has grown into a top ten account) for BBB [Bed Bath & Beyond. I guess we come under "Beyond"] (which has a bigger assortment and higher volume and more visibility) and on the one hand it would present interesting challenges (I mean that sincerely, it would be interesting and I'm stagnating a little) but on the other they are so annoying to work with when their current analyst is out! I wouldn't say evil, but certainly annoying.

Hec, was it not you who had the blowing-chili-powder-out-of-the-mortar-and-pestle misadventure many moons ago? Put the peppers down and back away slowly...

-t, the door was unlocked, my neighbor knew somehow. I've no idea why someone would leave their purse behind in an unlocked apartment though.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ouch, Hec!

Well, I'm more than halfway through the time without Gary, and I'm exhausted.(It doesn't help that my supervisor decided to put me on beeper duty to lessen my stress. This means I've done a lot of walking this week to pick up samples.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Today is stupid and I don't want to have a rehearsal tonight.
