this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm going to split the different on Steph's dad and suggest maybe there is a chipmunk in the walls or attic or something, but the goofballs are confusing the issue.

I can live with that outcome as well. Still needs an exterminator, but not as WHAT THE FUCK of a scenario as a chupacabra being in his box spring for 3-4 months.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

We decided that Dad needs an exterminator to come in and say "Sir, in my professional opinion as an exterminator...you are tripping balls HARD."

Do not hire Dale Gribble.

Did I miss why you needed a snail?

That's some spicy balls, David. 🌶

Sophia, I'm also willing to help. Could your friend come over and take out trash bags?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Snails are hardcore nonbinary, fwiw.

Maybe I should term that hardshell nonbinary.

I thought I remembered something like that, Theo!

I needed the snail to clean the container that holds a plant and hangs on my cubicle wall. My dad gave me the plant and said the person who made the thing suggested adding a snail. So now I'm looking at adding some aquatic moss to make the snail more comfortable, because the plant is mostly above the water and google tells me snails like plenty of vegetation.

Email from my boss

"how are you going to approach on boarding (person I hired to replace you that I have still not talked you about)?"

1) he still hasn't talked with me about any of this 2) I am still working from home 3) NO PLAN OFFERED UP ABOUT TRAINING, TRANSITIONING, ANYTHING

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I recently saw a brief video of a newly hatched snail eating its shell. Seemingly, they use the nutrients in the shell (calcium?) to help form their own shell (they hatch naked ... as do we all).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm sorry to gloat about my job when so many of you are in crappy situations, but honestly, my job is so great! I am seriously never leaving here. Even when it's aggravating (and maybe I'm coming in on Saturday again??), it's good. I just got a raise for no reason, because HR did a salary review!

I did reach out directly to an HR person at my current company because I do not think boss had done so. Nothing of it, but at least I reached out. I would be over the moon if a job fell in my lap with this place, it would make things much easier in the short-term.
