Sending you all kinds of love and support, Sophia. I'm really glad you shared this with us. And if I was still up near Syracuse, I would come help! Sorry I'm not.

Sophia, I just want to say that you're already more brave and strong than you realize, to be able to face this and get help and make a plan.
I'm nowhere especially near where you are, but if checking in with you, or remote cheerleading for each space you clear or each thing you toss, or Venmo-ing a little something your way to help with the cleaning service would help you get through this, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would help however I can.
{{{Sophia}}} It sounds like you have done a lot and have made space for yourself to do more! You're doing great.
The snail is to go in my aquatic plant thingy that my dad gave me. To keep it clean, I guess it is an aquarium thing, like the little catfish-looking critter we always had. I just need to get over to PetCo, but I need to remember to do it in the middle of the day so I can get the snail directly from the store to my cubicle.
Sophia, you should be proud you're taking these steps.
Sophia, this has to be so hard, and you just keep facing it and tackling it. I'm cheering you on.
Everything I know about Law and Order is being called into question: Adam Driver was on a last-season episode, and he didn't do it!
Thanks all. I may still have to run away from this if I can't afford the help. I mean, I can keep pushing on but it is going to be a long haul if I have to bag this living room up myself. My BFF keeps offering me bins, but it is mostly trash.
I just can't believe I have been so out of it and didn't really see it.
I have done the unfuck plenty of times, but this is way beyond that in the one room. I think I can handle it in the rest of the house.
But thank you shrift, that was thoughtful
Well, keep us posted -- I'm sure I'm not the only one who would help with the cost. It's so often that there's nothing we as a community can really do to help each other, but we are great at throwing money at a problem!
Seconding Jesse. I'm happy to help.
