I took off work for the most part and went to Watkins Glen yesterday with the family. Finger Lakes were in their full fall foliage glory. Pretty wine country, although I didn't stop at any of the wineries. The gorge waterfalls were spectacular and the weather perfect. I hope my SIL's photos are viewable that I shared on FB. [link]

Katie, we were talking about that last night as we enjoyed a bonfire. We've had plenty of rain and keep the hose close by in case of a stray ember. But we were discussing the areas where having a fire in the backyard is out of the question.
