Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Our wings are not tired.

And I am road tripping again. Off to NY to close up the camp for winter.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I should not have had that iced tea with dinner. Better have coffee now to compensate.

Safe travels, Laura!

I'm sitting at home waiting for a plumber to come to give us a quote for re-piping the house.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Oh, no! So sorry ND & Pix, good luck!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Elijah Cummings was only 68. He had been dealing with health problems for a long time, and just kept on working on what he believed in, right up to the day he died. What a wonderful man, what a wonderful life. Too short, as always.

cereal, because Rep. Cummings deserved his own post:

ND, wtf, you have to re-pipe the whole house? That sucks!

msbelle, can you just wait on the job hunt until you get to Baltimore??

I've done virtually nothing all week, and I can't tell if I'm just decompressing from the stress, or if I'm sinking into depression.

The only copy of my resume I can find is a corrupted file that I can't recover. I thought I'd just have to update it, but now I have to start over. Why is this so hard, to just write down all the shit I know how to do?

meara - Oct 17, 2019 9:38:15 am PDT #12368 of 30019

ND, all I can hear is "FULl! COPPER! REPIPE!" Yikes?

Zen, resumes are so hard.

I have about a billion things to catch up on and do (bills, plans, laundry, ) but instead I am catching up on Great British Bakeoff. It's the important things.

Oh, ugh, Zen! I know it's a pain, but maybe kinda good to start from scratch anyway?

Note to self: update resume

I have spent too much money on sushi for lunch. Jesse's fault, I am pretty sure.
