Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Oh, no! So sorry ND & Pix, good luck!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Elijah Cummings was only 68. He had been dealing with health problems for a long time, and just kept on working on what he believed in, right up to the day he died. What a wonderful man, what a wonderful life. Too short, as always.

cereal, because Rep. Cummings deserved his own post:

ND, wtf, you have to re-pipe the whole house? That sucks!

msbelle, can you just wait on the job hunt until you get to Baltimore??

I've done virtually nothing all week, and I can't tell if I'm just decompressing from the stress, or if I'm sinking into depression.

The only copy of my resume I can find is a corrupted file that I can't recover. I thought I'd just have to update it, but now I have to start over. Why is this so hard, to just write down all the shit I know how to do?

ND, all I can hear is "FULl! COPPER! REPIPE!" Yikes?

Zen, resumes are so hard.

I have about a billion things to catch up on and do (bills, plans, laundry, ) but instead I am catching up on Great British Bakeoff. It's the important things.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, ugh, Zen! I know it's a pain, but maybe kinda good to start from scratch anyway?

Note to self: update resume

I have spent too much money on sushi for lunch. Jesse's fault, I am pretty sure.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You're welcome!

You'll get no judgment here! It took me weeks to update my resume and I DID have good files to work from. It sucks.

Are you on LinkedIn? If you have a profile fairly well filled out, you might be able to crib a fair bit from there.

I am, but I don't. HOWEVER I just found a useable copy of my old resume on a random thumb drive; bless past-me for refusing to delete anything. Now I can get started on this. ...Right after this nap. I hate having to admit that I'm sick, but I'm sick.

Our wings are not tired

ND, wtf, you have to re-pipe the whole house? That sucks!

We have known that we'd need to do it since we bought the house. It's all galvanized pipes that are over 50 years old. There was a dream that we could wait until we could afford to do a bigger remodel of the house, but we won't be able to do that for quite a few years yet, so we are getting bids from companies so that we can get this take care of.
