Thanks, all. The shooter is in custody -- he sustained injuries and was sent to one of the local trauma hospitals. Ugh, can you imagine being assigned to provide medical care to that piece of shit.
I think I'll try to venture out rather than tying myself into knots staying inside.

Haven't gotten to the latest Strike book yet (I'm still in book 2, and am kinda dreading getting to book 3 with that ending). I am deliberating whether to rush through to book 4 or wait for the series. Probably the former -- who knows when they'll get to filming it? I wanna ask you if JKR FIXED THE THING but no. I shall remain strong!
