It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

We can get flu shots at work, which is convenient.

Health~ma to your family, Laura.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can get a flu shot at work, but only between noon and 3 on a Monday or Tuesday. Not as convenient as I might hope!

And I don't have the right outfit on to go get one at CVS after work.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

You guys just inspired me to look up the flu clinic at my dr's. Next Saturday is the next not-during-work-hours availability, but that works for me better than this weekend anyway. So thanks!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ltc got a flu shot and two boosters. She is not happy. So, we're taking her out to dinner.

I got one at the drugstore last time I picked up a prescription. Thought I might have to take my shirt off because it was spur of the moment and I was wearing something with long, fairly tight sleeve. Luckily the wide neckline meant I was able to just pull it off one shoulder and get it there, without being semi-naked in the drugstore!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

They started giving out flu shots at work this week. I need to figure out a day to get it. It shouldn't be that hard as the shot location is in my building.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

As usual, time to Do Work on a Friday actually means time I don't wanna! I have a couple of meetings this afternoon and then I'm going to take off early to get ready for the big festival! If it's not raining, I'll be parading tonight, and then playing more all weekend. YAY FUN.

OK, so no parading tonight, which sounds right. It was supposed to include a lot of kids and lanterns, so wind and rain would be no bueno!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'll get a flu shot next time I see my doctor, in a couple weeks. Even if I forget, she'll remind me.

I have to send my work laptop back today and I'll be without a proper laptop. My own laptop is way old; it's hooked up to the printer and that's really its only job. I need a new laptop. I ordered one from Dell, to use my employee discount before it was gone, but I'm not happy about it -- the discount was almost nothing, I'm still paying over $1000 for a laptop that doesn't have a DVD RW drive (which I wanted) and it won't arrive for TWO WEEKS. Even if I get freelance work, I can't do it until I get the new laptop. I'm seriously considering cancelling that order and just going over to Best Buy.
