I'm pretty proud that I only ate two of the lindor truffles out of the bowl of them on my colleague's table. But also (and her job is a total dumpster fire) when she said we should get coffee, I said, "...or a drink?" and she was like "YOU DRINK!?!?!?!" Poor thing could really use a drink, so we'll do that instead.

Drinks are a much better plan. I may do that later. Work remains overwhelming. Step-dad is back in the hospital, but I think his heart flip flops are likely due to one of his closest friends dying rather expectantly. He is super fragile emotionally. Was glad to see sister step up and go visit him.
Best news is I have super shiny fun nails. Went to just get a boring polish change because I was bringing a big bunch of clothes to my SIL to send to the Bahamas with her SIL. She had this new stuff (new to me anyway) called cat eye. There is metal in the polish and she takes a magnet to make a streak across the middle of the nail. Fun stuff.
