Oy, I just saw that the planned safety power outage is supposed to start 12:01 tomorrow morning and last through Thursday afternoon! I thought it was just gonna be a few hours. Luckily, my house shows on the map as if it will not be affected, I hope that turns out to be true

I've entered the Depression stage of the Five Stages of Grieving. Denial was last weekend, Anger was yesterday, and for efficiency I'm skipping Bargaining. I have no skills that anyone wants to pay for, and no one is offering pay for anything that I want to do. If I had the opportunity to do whatever I wanted, I don't even know what I'd do. Six years until I can take early retirement, which I wasn't planning to do, but hey, things change.

I was. I have mad skillz. Steph gave me some leads, thank you Steph!, and another friend of mine is talking to me right now about doing some freelance work. I'll be okay, I'm sure, I'm just...still trying not to panic.
I just really don't think you're unemployable, and I want you to get a fabulous new job and rub it in the faces of your former employers.
I also want this! My sister reminded me how stressed out the job made me; she thinks I'm better off finding something else anyway.
