And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I'm so sorry, Zen. That really sucks.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Zen, that completely sucks. I'm so sorry.

TCG is sick, ltc is cranky, and I feel like I'm getting a migraine.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In somewhat fun news, Eliza Dushku may be a minor topic in a meeting I'm going to tomorrow?? (Her husband would be a larger topic.)

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Zen, that really, really blows. What a shitty thing.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry, Zen.

So Mr. S woke up at 2:30 saying he was scared. I let him sleep in the bed with me, and luckily he went back to sleep right away. Still, another sleep-interrupted night was not what I needed.

Coding and Sleeping

So sorry, Zen. That really sucks. I sure hope you can find something good.

I'm on a short vacation, the first in a long time, and, of course, I fucked it up because that's what I do. On the way down my wife mentioned wanting to visit a state park we passed and I forgot. She just told me I messed up and I offered to visit it on the way back, but it's apparently too late now. I tried hard not to fuck up again, but I always do. The world would be a lot better without me.

What is even happening?

My son is having his surgery tomorrow. Your thoughts, prayers, good wishes, and vibes are appreciated.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Many good thoughts and wishes to him (and you), Cindy!

Ugh, Zen, I'm so sorry. I hope you find something else great soon.

Gud, that sounds like a mistake, which humans make from time to time, and a pretty minor one in the grand scheme of things. I'm worried for you if you really feel the world would be better off without you, which is entirely untrue. When was the last time you looked into therapy?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Here's hoping a new, non-stressful job makes an appearance in short order, Zen.

Best wishes on your son's surgery Cindy.

Gud, was your wife struck mute by the powers that be on the way past the state park she wanted to visit? If not, the mistake was hers, not yours.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, I just caught up on the news. That was a bad idea.
