Timelies all!
There is a rock under my computer desk. I'd ask how it got there, but I'm pretty sure I know already.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

It's not your computer desk rock, I take it
Which means we'll suddenly owe more money to a bunch of doctors? Jesus Christ.
But then you'll meet your deductible again and not owe all that money? Man, the insurance system sure is great!!
Why would we ever want something else? It's so easy and makes so much sense. Not to mention efficient and cheap.
Unrelatedly, sometimes I'm scrolling through FB and People You May Know shows me someone from college and I think "He looks EXACTLY the same down to the expression, do not need to friend, I know what I need to know". It's a surprisingly good feeling.
Feeling less like the walking dead today. Slept a few more hours last night.
Went to see my SIL and got my nails done last night with DIL. Son & Wife are actively trying to make me a grandma. Have names picked out and so forth. She is taking her temperature every day and the whole thing. Whee!
The other son's situation is not good. Going to talk to DH about it today and maybe take him north with us when we go end of next week.
Fingers crossed on the grandma possiblity.
I'm practicing backing up the Bus, while I wait on a call for a pick up.
Go Grandmatization!
I had an initial video interview for a job I might want yesterday. I think it went well? Hard to say. Anyway, I'll find out next week whether they want to bring me up for a face to face one. If not, well, my current situation isn't bad. It's just a few hundred miles further south than I'd like.
Today I will go to Half Moon Bay and visit everyone who flew in for Dad's memorial tomorrow. I still feel very calm and very sad. Perhaps I'll lose my shit at Thanksgiving remembering how glad I was to see him last year after his adventure with bowel obstruction in Montana.
Scam alert: I received a call from the Ascension Group looking for "the responsible party" about his estate. Apparently these are carrion vultures trying to get survivors to pay bills they have no need to pay. As if Dad left debt instead of savings. Good thing my sister and stepmom are savvy enough to check them out and decline to speak to them. So FYI in case anyone else has to deal with this.
No YOU woke up to identity theft and fraudulent accounts.
Apparently I'm not allowed to go more than a week or so without an anxiety attack.
Just tried to put a fraud alert on my credit report with Equifax and I could not pass their questions to verify my identity. JFC!!!!!!
