Also, I woke up at 415, was through airport security by 515, and I don't land until after 11pm (I have a several hour layover). Colombia here I come! I'm totally overpacked but probably also forgot something important? (Not my passport, wallet, or phone, so I'm telling myself everything else is ok)

You can definitely buy things there! And/or in various airports.
Woo! Drink some yummy coffee and dance some sexy salsa!
Have fun meara.
All I want to do is either sleep or online shop. Instead I have tedious detail work that is not hard but requires attention and a million repetitive steps. I already found one error from yesterday that required me to go into 16 different records to correct a field. Ugh.
ION I have a massage tonight and nothing on my calendar for tomorrow until 3pm!! So maybe much sleep.
Huh. Husband had a phone interview with HR this morning at 8:30. She told him that probably Monday or Tuesday he'd hear about next steps. She just called at 9:30 to say that the hiring manager and person in his position want to talk to him at noon.
God, I hope this is a good sign. I mean, it would involve moving to Pittsburgh at some point, but I don't even fucking care any more.
Oh Pittsburgh has some amazing houses.
I went to Pittsburgh earlier this year and I loved it.
Pittsburgh is an awesome city.
Crossing all fingers, Dana!
As some of you have heard, we've had this elections thing on Tuesday. While Bibi's party isn't the largest party anymore, it's still unclear who will be the next PM and how the next government will look like. I'm tiny bit hopeful but still very concerned. It's been a bad political decade here, to say the least.
(I was also a secretary in this election round, so I got to stay up for 23 hours straight because this is how it works here. One of the committee members of where I was stationed was a less bright version of an Emily Gilmore that I had to restrain myself from strangle every time she tried to keep people from voting, but the nonsense prize absolutely goes to the hundreds of other secretaries and committee members who stood in line with me in the end of the night, glued to their screens and taking the exit polls' results very seriously, all while holding the actual results of elections in their hands).
Shir, that whole thing looks like a mess! Sorry.
