Thrive to spite them

Sj I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I am at home. Tomorrow Matthew and I are going to the beach. I am so ready. Originally we were going to go through the 30th but now it's until next Friday. My briehr is going to see mom tomorrow through the weekend and then she is going to stay with a friend for the week. She is doing lots better but slower and she totes out very easily and when she does she really slows down and that is when she has more memory/cognition problems.

I am going to post a lot of stuff on FB about my trip. I'm ready to focus on other things. Also tomorrow night will be the first night Matthew and I have had alone since his mom moved in.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey, I'm buying a dress and an umbrella! I am committed.

I'm thinking the umbrella might have more than costume functionality.

But your point obtains! I'm going to need to see pictures, of course.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Authentic AND cheap AND Lazy! The best.

As the person who was Underground Fighting Ring Pam Poovey for Halloween one year so that I could wear yoga pants and a white tank, I 100% support authentic/cheap/lazy.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My Mrs Roper costume from last year was good for that, too.

I'm FB friends with a few of my coworkers and one of them posted that our 9/80 schedule got extended through October so now I am tempted to check my work email to confirm but I think the part of my brain that is adamantly opposed to checking work email when I am officially off work is stronger.

I'm going to a dance event that starts on Halloween (so there's a dance that night) and someone was like "are you going to be in costume?" and I was basically like "well, I'll probably wear a bandana and say I"m Rosie the Riveter, does that count? Because I think not"

Also, I woke up at 415, was through airport security by 515, and I don't land until after 11pm (I have a several hour layover). Colombia here I come! I'm totally overpacked but probably also forgot something important? (Not my passport, wallet, or phone, so I'm telling myself everything else is ok)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can definitely buy things there! And/or in various airports.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Have fun meara.

All I want to do is either sleep or online shop. Instead I have tedious detail work that is not hard but requires attention and a million repetitive steps. I already found one error from yesterday that required me to go into 16 different records to correct a field. Ugh.

ION I have a massage tonight and nothing on my calendar for tomorrow until 3pm!! So maybe much sleep.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Huh. Husband had a phone interview with HR this morning at 8:30. She told him that probably Monday or Tuesday he'd hear about next steps. She just called at 9:30 to say that the hiring manager and person in his position want to talk to him at noon.

God, I hope this is a good sign. I mean, it would involve moving to Pittsburgh at some point, but I don't even fucking care any more.
