'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Second day of work survived! I interacted with coworkers, and also watched another nearly 4 hours of instructional videos. Did you know there's a Massachusetts Assisted Living Facility Association, and they require 7 different videos to be watched before you are allowed to interact with residents? On cheery topics like how to detect dementia and elder abuse, too.

I wonder what PEP is doing that helps Mr. S keep it together and that the others aren't? Or maybe is it some kind of fatigue and frustration that builds up for the poor little guy?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Well, PEP is where he was last year, so the teachers are familiar, and the work they did with him snapped right back into place. Unfortunately it's just for a couple of hours a day.

(It probably doesn't help that we give him his medicine in the morning, and it lasts 5-6 hours)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Afternoons are more difficult in general with kids. Can they give him a slow release medication that lasts longer?

I don't know. I need to set up a follow-up appointment with the psychiatrist anyhow, so we'll see what she says.

When I was on adderall the slow release was much better. Good luck.

I think ltc is finally asleep. TCG has s meeting tonight. So I put her to bed and was trying to read but she was making a lot of noise tossing and turning instead of sleeping.

Thrive to spite them

I had several different issues with Adderal or Ritilan but the short time frame was a huge one. I can't remember which one but when it would wear off I would crash and feel spacey and a bit off for a while.

Our wings are not tired.

You have to take care of yourself, Gud. If you don't take proper care of yourself you can't help anyone else.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Applying for jobs is THE WORST. I am trying to do the best I can and so am reading thoroughly each job description that I find appropriate/interesting, then tailoring my resume. Then entering it into a spreadsheet once applied so I can track who when and where I applied.
