Ugh, sorry, askye. None of that phone stuff makes sense to me, but what do I know.

Happy Birthday flea!
Meeting's over. Miss Annette did most of the talking, outlining what strategies she used last year at PEP. She will e-mail the plan to us, we will send it to the principal, who will send it to the board. Once they approve it, Mr. S can come back to school. In the meanwhile we will get a nanny to take him to and from PEP on Monday so he can start that. Whew!
Sounds encouraging, Sheryl.
Askye, msbelle, Sheryl and other, much ma to you.
Probably needs a separate post, but I just reread Dogs in Elk, and on September 9th it will be 20 years old!!! [link]

WHAT.
...dogs in elk is older than my oldest current student.
I may need a minute.
Still one of the funniest things I've ever read.
Oh man. I heart dogs in elk
Happy birthday, flea!
Rehab is much better than regular hospital rooms -- they're getting you back to living normally, so you can wear real clothes, do a lot of things on your own, even if its just deciding to take a nap, all the while they're on hand if you need it, and they really do evaluate you as to whether you can go home in a safe manner.
They're also much better than most family members at explaining to the rehabee, too.
