Oh, so NOW Mac tweets to you? Jeez Louise, I want to Zen slap him a time or two. (That's not a violent slap, just one to forcibly wake one.)
This is a necessary part of hitting bottom, which in his case involves starting to act as an adult member of his family.
I survived a play date with one of ltc's friends from school and her mom.
Maybe he can fashion some sort of rudimentary lean-to out of his vaping kit and game console?
Matt, you're the best.
msbelle, keep on doing what you're doing.
Timelies all!
Today was Mr. S's first day at his new preschool, and I've been stressed out about it. Turns out I was right to worry. The aftercare teacher told me he opened the gate from the playground three times, and he overturned chairs in the classroom. They have safety concerns, and I understand that, but I'm afraid he's going to be kicked out before the first week is done. We don't have any other options.
(Called the doctor for Sam's meds, but haven't heard anything yet)
Shouldn't it be the school's responsibility to make sure kids can't open gates.
I would think making sure the gates are secured is the school's job. Also do they know he's been without his medication? Hopefully they will be understanding about that.
My attendance is no longer required for jury duty. I always have such mixed feelings about that.
I have driven all day today, am getting dinner, and then driving about 30 min to my Airbnb. Whew! Pretty stuff though.
