The NPR Politics podcast has been doing half-hour interviews with all of the candidates, and I just have to say, they all sound like smart, thoughtful people who have actually thought things through. Do I think most of them should be president, or even running? Nah. But STILL. It's kind of heartening, actually.

We have a new time system at work . I had issues with it. Two supervisors said they would fix them. That was last week which was the end of the pay period. I talked to someone on Monday who said they would fix ut
I just looked at my payslip (we can see those on Wednesdays). Guess who is missing 2 days of pay?

I like that Gillibrand foregrounded women's issues especially abortion rights. I didn't think she had a shot, though, and I'm happy to have her in the Senate.
