The NPR Politics podcast has been doing half-hour interviews with all of the candidates, and I just have to say, they all sound like smart, thoughtful people who have actually thought things through. Do I think most of them should be president, or even running? Nah. But STILL. It's kind of heartening, actually.

I like that Gillibrand foregrounded women's issues especially abortion rights. I didn't think she had a shot, though, and I'm happy to have her in the Senate.
I like Gilibrand fine. Don't think she had a chance, but sorry to see her out before Williamson or deBlasioor the other 6 white guys I can't even name and just had to look up.
