Jess, how much coffee does the rumble jar net you? It's a 32 ounce jar obviously but do you dilute it? (We have a ten-cup machine - which I think is 60 ounces not 80 thought - and drink the whole pot every morning, so I'm wondering what would work for us.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So, the mandatory fun is a little too free form to hold my attention for 2.5 hours. My lunch was good, but the people who got gyros thought their servings were half what they should be. They let us know before hand that the only provided drinks would be water and Gatorade so I went to buy a coke from the machine and the machine is out of order! Bah.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Someday I will be a real grownup and be able to drink coffee. Supertasting is supposed to fade as you grow older (taste buds die off, seriously) but it sure hasn't happened to me yet.

Hey. New board.

Yes affogato wrong country. Sorry Italy.

I think cold brew is easier on my stomach because of the acid, but the caffeine is higher. Depends I guess.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I don't like coffee in any form, either.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't dilute it other than adding ice, and for us, 1 jar yields 3-4 servings poured over ice into a lowball glass. Diluted, it would probably work out to the same number of servings, but less strong coffee. (I considered buying the gallon version because the other nice thing about cold brew is it doesn't go stale as fast as standard coffee, but see above re: too many coffee makers.)

Really??? There's hope!

The company brought in cookie-store cookies, and my nerdy compatriots are going nuts. They're so young and adorable. "Dude! There's chocolate inside the chocolate chip cookies! I love these cookies!" "Dude, that's the Nutella, they're Nutella cookies." "Dude!" I'm glad I've got a new crop of young unmarried nerds around me, they're like puppies. And I'm firmly in the Mom spectrum with them, with added cool points for understanding nerdy jokes.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Thanks everyone. I must definitely try it. I love the taste of coffee, including coffee ice cream, and definitely need it in the mornings. And this is Texas, so cold brew would be good most of the year.

I am pretty much the opposite of a supertaster. A subtaster? I like a lot of bitter things. Delicate and subtle flavors tend to taste like nothing. There are particular flavors I absolutely do not like, but they are more often sweet than bitter.
