Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Supertasting is supposed to fade as you grow older (taste buds die off, seriously)

Really??? There's hope!

The company brought in cookie-store cookies, and my nerdy compatriots are going nuts. They're so young and adorable. "Dude! There's chocolate inside the chocolate chip cookies! I love these cookies!" "Dude, that's the Nutella, they're Nutella cookies." "Dude!" I'm glad I've got a new crop of young unmarried nerds around me, they're like puppies. And I'm firmly in the Mom spectrum with them, with added cool points for understanding nerdy jokes.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Thanks everyone. I must definitely try it. I love the taste of coffee, including coffee ice cream, and definitely need it in the mornings. And this is Texas, so cold brew would be good most of the year.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am pretty much the opposite of a supertaster. A subtaster? I like a lot of bitter things. Delicate and subtle flavors tend to taste like nothing. There are particular flavors I absolutely do not like, but they are more often sweet than bitter.

That which does not kill you should RUN

I don't like coffee in any form, either.

I would squint suspiciously at the 2 of you misguided non-coffee-drinkers, but then I remembered that your dislike of coffee means there's more in the world for me. So my suspicious squint is now a beam of approval.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I can take or leave coffee. It's useful as an early-morning caffeine delivery system, but I prefer soft drinks.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I drink iced coffee for something like half the year, because I've become one of those people who overheat easily.

We have an Areo Press, which pretty much makes a double shot of espresso. That + cream + ice = elixir of life.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Also, last weekend I tried the most ridiculously pretentious iced coffee drink ever, and it was annoyingly tasty. "Espresso, smoked grapefruit rosemary syrup, coconut water, sparkling water, lime. Cold. *alterations politely declined*"

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ugh, did not sleep well last night. I woke up at 3:30 when Gary got up to use the bathroom, and kept waking up the rest of the night.

I wish I liked coffee.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel like I did a test one time that suggested I was a supertaster, but I also love bitter things. Eh.
