Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Thank you for sharing that, Gris.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would like to go to Humpback Steakhouse and/or eat popcorn for dinner.

Our wings are not tired.

Humpback Steakhouse does sound good, as does popcorn. I don't think I want whale steak though.

I've just signed up for dog training class for me and Skinner. He is too enthusiastic for me to have a good time walking with him. It is far more expensive up here than it is at home where there are multiple next to nothing classes offered by various park systems. But I am not in Florida, and my sister is taking her new dog too so good sisterly times.

Cleaning up my computer that I only really use as a media computer connected to my not so smart tv. It used to be used for business stuff so there are a bunch of unneeded programs. Computer cleaning is so much less work on the body than house cleaning.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We have vaguely tried to go to Popeye's twice yesterday and today, and even at 8PM and 3:30PM, the drive-through line has circled the building. I know there's a big thing about the sandwich, but seriously?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

so I'm just going to let you all know that today my five year old (Matilda) asked if we could go to Humpback Steakhouse for dinner.

Heh! 12 (almost 13) year old Matilda also loves steak, but it's best the dad makes it.

Humpback Steakhouse is amusing me thank you

Today has been a useless day of non accomplishment. Trying to upend that but spent more time dithering about where I wanted to go and how to get there than I probably will spend at the location. Ridiculous!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Has Matilda seen Twelve Forever on Netflix?

Hey. New board.

Matilda had steak for dinner but not from the Outback. Her steak was probably better.

Brazilian Outback Steakhouse is an odd experience. It's pretty close to the US version but the steak cuts are different and you can tell the locals think it's exotic and fancy. It's in all the nice malls. I'm not a fan, though fried onions are still yum here.

Worse, McDonald's here doesn't serve breakfast or iced coffee. Iced coffee isn't even a thing most places, despite the heat. Starbucks has cold brew but it's usually not in stock. Some of the fancy coffee shops in the hipster part of town will make coffee tonics, but I really just want a large Dunkin iced, which is unobtainable unless I try to make it myself. Tragic.

This has been your multinational restaurant chain update of the day. Stay tuned next week to learn that Subway sucks here too.

No iced coffee and no McDonald breakfast? That's a no from me. (I admit, I went to a McDonald's in Japan one morning because we were so sick of 7-11 pastries for breakfast)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

No iced coffee in Brazil is a very strange fact. I'm having a hard time absorbing it into my worldview.
